A two-year prison term was handed down today for a homeless man who took part in an attack on a woman who was stabbed to death on Hollywood Boulevard after refusing to give a group of panhandlers any money for taking a photo of them.

Jason Joel Wolstone, 34, pleaded no contest to assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and was sentenced by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Victor Greenberg.

Wolstone pushed the woman and put her in a headlock, according to prosecutors.

Two other men are still awaiting trial on charges stemming from the June 18, 2013, attack on Christine Calderon (pictured above), who was stabbed in the upper body on a sidewalk outside the Hollywood & Highland Center.

Dustin James Kinnear, 27, is charged with murder, along with a knife use allegation, for allegedly stabbing the 27-year-old woman after she declined to give the group any money after taking a photo with her cell phone camera.

Brian Joseph Widdows, 34, is charged with two counts of being an accessory after the fact.

The two men -- who were ordered to stand trial last October along with Wolstone -- are due back in court June 4 for a pretrial hearing.
