Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Northeast Division said today they are looking for information leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects who killed a 62-year-old man in Hollywood, apparently as part of a robbery attempt.

About 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, patrol officers were sent to the 5000 block of Hollywood Boulevard, near Normandie Avenue, on an assault with a deadly weapon call where they found Yeprem Khotsuryan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Khotsuryan was declared dead at the scene by paramedics, according to police.

The suspect was described only as a male of unknown descent wearing a gray hoodie.

Anyone with information on the killing was asked to call detectives at (323) 344-5744.
