Police Investigate Bomb Threat at Selma and Vine

Police blocked public access to businesses on the east sidewalk of Vine Street for a short time Thursday.

Notice police activity near Selma Avenue and Vine Street Thursday afternoon?

Los Angeles police received a report of a possible bomb threat at a bank on the 1600 block of Vine Street around 12 p.m. The bomb squad and bomb-sniffing dogs determined there was no threat to the area, according to an LAPD officer at the scene. Employees were allowed back into the bank around 2 p.m.

Selma Avenue between Argyle and Vine was closed as well as the east sidewalk of Vine Street during the investigation.
