One of two people suspected of taking a man's cell phone in a strong-arm robbery in Hollywood has been taken into custody.
The suspects knocked the victim to the ground during the robbery, which was reported at 9:10 p.m. Friday on Hollywood Boulevard near Bronson Avenue, said Lt. Rich Gabaldon of the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Station.
Officers arrested a 16-year-old boy, but a second male between 16 and 20 years old was able to evade police, who set up a one-block perimeter following the robbery, Gabaldon said.
