No Injuries in Studio Lot Fire on Gower

A fire burned Saturday at Sunset Gower Studios lot in Hollywood, but no one was harmed, a city fire official said.

The fire was reported at 3:43 p.m. in an office building attached to a sound stage at 1438 N. Gower St., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

With 39 firefighter son the scene, the flames -- which were being held off by fire sprinklers -- were out in 23 minutes, Humphrey said.

The blaze was held to the attic, but there was water damage to floors below, Humphrey said.
