Police say witnesses report he was driving at a high speed

A motorist killed in Hollywood early Monday when his car crashed into some parked vehicles and a taxi was identified Tuesday.

Enoc Fernandez, 23, of Los Angeles, died at the scene in the 1400 block of La Brea Avenue about 2 a.m., according to police and coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.

"Witnesses say he was driving at a high speed," said Los Angeles police Officer Daniel Chang of the West Traffic Division, which is in charge of the investigation.
