Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on Cahuenga Pass

The circumstances of the collision are under investigation.

A man riding a motorcycle was killed today in a collision with a car near Universal City, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 12:30 a.m. at Cahuenga and Barham boulevards, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. The 41-year-old Van Nuys man died at a hospital. His name was withheld, pending family notification.

The man was riding his 1990 Harley-Davidson when it collided with a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Maxime Desire, 52, of La Crescenta, the LAPD reported.

The circumstances of the collision were under investigation. Anyone with information on the crash was urged to call the LAPD Valley Traffic Division at (818) 644-8116, or (877) LAPD-24-7.
