Wondering why there were police and firefighters on Franklin Avenue near La Brea around 10:30 a.m. Monday?
Los Angeles firefighters and police were responding to a report of a female having mental issues on the 7000 block of Franklin Avenue, said Officer Bruce Borihanh of the Los Angeles Police Department. The call was reported at 10:10 a.m.
Traffic was stopped for a short time on Franklin as police and firefighters were on scene evaluating the woman.
