UPDATED: Man Shot Outside Hollywood Supper Club

Another man reportedly got out of a car with a gun, walked to another car and shot the victim in the chest. Police now believe it was gang-related.

A 38-year-old man was fatally wounded this morning in what detectives believe was a gang-related shooting outside a Hollywood night club, police said.

The shooting occurred at 2 a.m. outside the Premiere Supper Club on Las Palmas Avenue just north of Hollywood Boulevard, according to Sgt. Chuck Slater of the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Station.

The killing was caught on surveillance video, which shows the victim walking south on La Palmas, approaching a car stopped at a light at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard, punching the driver in the face and then being shot in the torso by someone inside the vehicle, according to ABC7.

Officers found the victim down in the street near a black Dodge Charger, police said.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died in surgery, according to Slater.

Police were seeking the public's help in identifying three to four males who were in the suspect vehicle, a black sedan last seen headed south on Las Palmas Avenue.
