Kanye West off the Hook for Scuffle at Beverly Hills Chiro Office

The rapper was accused of punching an 18-year-old earlier this month.

County prosecutors declined today to file a case against Kanye West over the rapper's run-in with an 18-year-old man at a chiropractor's office in Beverly Hills.

West was accused of punching the man on Jan. 13 after the entertainer's fiance, Kim Kardashian, told him that the man used a racial epithet while talking with her, according to a charge evaluation worksheet released by the District Attorney's Office.

No significant injuries were documented at the time of the initial report, according to the charge evaluation worksheet, which noted that the man's attorney indicated a civil compromise was reached.

TMZ.com reported that the rapper agreed to pay the man more than $250,000.

The man, whose name was not released, no longer desires criminal prosecution, and declined through his attorney to speak with a representative of the District Attorney's Office, according to the document.
