Hollywood Hills Fire Extinguished Monday Night

Firefighters quickly douse flames near brush; no one hurt.

A fire burned Monday night near some brush in the Hollywood Hills, but was extinguished quickly, a city fire official said. No injuries were reported, and damage reportedly was confined to a shed.

The fire was reported at 8:07 p.m. at 8145 Willow Glen Rd., said Cecil Manresa of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Rescuers arriving at the location reported flames in a shed spreading to nearby brush, but later reports indicated no brush was involved, Manresa said.
