Firefighters Knock Apartment Building Blaze

One person is evaluated for smoke inhalation after the fire on Fuller Avenue.

Firefighters battled a roiling fire in the living room area of a two-story apartment building in the Fairfax area of Los Angeles Sunday, and one person may have suffered some smoke inhalation, a city fire official.

At least one person was being evaluated for smoke inhalation from the fire at 835 N. Fuller Ave., said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene, near West Hollywood, at 11:09 a.m. They had the fire out within 12 minutes of their arrival, Scott said.
