Fire Stations to Participate in Open House Day
The biggest celebration, an annual pancake breakfast, is planned at the LAFD Museum on Saturday.

Los Angeles neighborhood fire stations are planning a range of festivities for residents in the community on Saturday.
The Los Angeles Fire Department's annual city-wide open house is planned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all neighborhood fire stations.

The event, usually held on the second Saturday of May, aims to increase awareness of LAFD services and extend the department's appreciation to the community.
During this year's open house, firefighters are focusing to strengthen community-wide emergency preparedness and disaster resiliency.
Along with personal tours of a Fire Station near you, the LAFD is hosting simultaneous demonstrations and displays at Fire Station 27 & LAFD Museum, 1327 N. Cole Ave. Enjoy a pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by an opening ceremony at 10 a.m.

Those unable to attend on Saturday due to religious observance, may join in events on Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at three locations:
