Fire Crews Knock Down Blaze in Vacant Hollywood Building

The fire was put out in 23 minutes.

Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire at a vacant apartment building in Hollywood on Thursday.

Crews responded to 4811 Melrose Ave. after the fire was reported at 4:41 p.m. The fire was put out in 23 minutes.

It was not immediately known how the fire started.
