Cement Truck Rolls Over in Hollywood Hills
Authorities said the drum on the truck separated from the concrete mixer and rolled down the hill, causing minor damage to an unoccupied residence.
A cement truck overturned today in the Hollywood Hills, leaving the driver with non-life-threatening injuries.
The truck went off the 1800 block of North Crescent Heights Boulevard, near its dead end in the hills, about 1 p.m., and paramedics took the driver to a trauma center as a precaution, said David Ortiz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
An urban search-and-rescue team was initially dispatched, but the driver apparently got out of the truck on his own and was later listed in stable condition.
