A cement truck overturned today in the Hollywood Hills, leaving the driver with non-life-threatening injuries.

The truck went off the 1800 block of North Crescent Heights Boulevard, near its dead end in the hills, about 1 p.m., and paramedics took the driver to a trauma center as a precaution, said David Ortiz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

An urban search-and-rescue team was initially dispatched, but the driver apparently got out of the truck on his own and was later listed in stable condition.
