Candlelight Vigil, Funeral Services Held for Fallen Firefighter
Glenn Allen died Feb. 17 from injuries sustained fighting a fire in the Hollywood Hills and will be buried today.
A memorial service for Los Angeles city firefighter Glenn Allen, who died after a ceiling collapsed on him while battling a blaze at a Hollywood Hills home died, was held Friday morning at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels in downtown Los Angeles.
A private memorial reception for the 38-year Los Angeles Fire Department veteran who was one year away from retirement will take place at noon Friday at the Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training facility in Elysian Park.
A candlelight vigil for Allen, who died Feb. 17, was held at Fire Station 78 in Studio City on Thursday night. Watch the accompanying video to see the vigil.

The house where Allen was injured has been declared a crime scene, and investigators were back on site Friday to determine whether fire codes had been violated.
