2 Men Shot in Hollywood Connected to Domestic Dispute, Police Say

Police are trying to determine which man is the victim and which one is the suspect.

Two men were wounded, one seriously, in a shooting in Hollywood Friday police said was related to domestic violence.

It appeared that the ex-husband of a woman at the residence had become involved in a dispute with her current boyfriend, said Lt. Richard Gabaldon of the LAPD's Hollywood Community Police Station.

Police are trying to determine which man was the victim and which one was the suspect, Gabaldon said.

One of the wounded men had a graze wound on his head, the other was shot three times, twice in the lower extremities and once in the stomach, Gabaldon said.

Both men were taken to a hospital for treatment and are both expected to survive their injuries, Gabaldon said.

The woman was not injured, but had been detained at the Hollywood station for questioning, Gabaldon said.

The shooting was reported around 4:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Fuller Avenue, near Hollywood Boulevard, according to Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.
