Lighthouse for Lupus CG Donates Teddy Bears to CHLA Rheumatology
On Thursday, December 19th, 2013 Lighthouse for Lupus CG, an online Lupus support group with approximately 3200 members worldwide, donated 500 teddy bears and other stuffed animals to the rheumatology division at the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Lighthouse for Lupus CG supports members nationwide fighting Lupus and other auto-immune disorders and has three closed groups including a support group for teens and caregivers. The bears were delivered by Lighthouse members and administrators, Nicole Masry-McAdam and Paige McAdam. Lighthouse for Lupus CG and "Operation Teddy Bear" was founded by Stuart Cahoon AKA "Papa Santa" from South Carolina.
