"Calling ALL Candidates!" Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council Board of Directors Elections

Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council 2014 Board of Directors Elections

If you are interested in your community and want to get involved in making it a better place to live or work, consider becoming a Board member of the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council.  The HHWNC covers the area from Sunset/Crescent Heights to the Universal City Red Line Station, including portions of the Hollywood Hills on both sides of the Cahuenga Pass.  There are nine sub areas of the HHWNC each of which has an Area Committee Chair on the board.  There are also nine Issue Committee Chairs, so if you are interested in Traffic conditions, Public Safety, Education, Cultural issues, to name a few, there is a place for you to address these issues on the Board.  HHWNC is one of close to 100 neighborhood councils in the City of Los Angeles that provide input to the City Council and are funded by the City Council with a budget to finance improvement projects in neighborhoods.  Get involved in your neighborhood and run for a seat on the HHWNC Board.

Leading up to the elections, candidate filing begins on Tuesday, January 14 and continues until Thursday, February 13.  There will not be write in candidates on the ballot.  Candidate filing forms are available on the EmpowerLA website and are available on the HHWNC website www.hhwnc.org  or via this link.
