7:00 am car burglary 1300 block of Cherokee Ave in Hollywood. Thieves were seen in a white jeep cherokee trying to pry the door handle off a car at 7 am this morning. I saw them through our front windows standing in our driveway doing something to our car so I walked out the front door to see what they were doing and the perpetrator quickly dashed inside the getaway vehicle and they took off very quickly speeding northbound on Cherokee Ave toward the seven 11 on Sunset and Cherokee. After inspecting our car, it appears that they were trying to pry off the passenger side door handle. The amazing part of it all: Who is stupid enough to burglarize a car in someones driveway at 7 am in the morning right in front of a video camera.
