BEWARE!! FRAUD! Didnt know where to go since my son is new to the area saw Firestone and assumed with the name it was reputable.  Sent my young son and his girlfriend here to get a nail repair in his tire. Michael one of the techs told my sons girlfriend who was waiting for the car, that the tire had two nails in it right next to each other and was not repairable. She called me and when I spoke to the same guy he told me the same story. I asked that he not repair the tire till I figure out what to do.  When she was leaving she took a pic of the nail in the tire and the manager Ernesto told her the reason the tire couldn't be repaired was because the nail was to close to the sidewall. That's the second story but of course since she took a picture and there wasn't two nails in the tire. So instead we took the car to American Tire on Lankershim  and guess what, one nail easily repaired for $25.99 not $400 for a new tire that Firestone said was necessary! I am reporting this to Firestones internal consumer affairs as well as Ca State consumer affairs auto repair fraud division! BEWARE! They are scammers even the manager! Don't go here! The saw a couple young kids and thought they were an easy mark. Shame on them! I hope they get in big trouble. I think I'll call the news to!
