Dorothy Mae Amyx: Born in Iowa, she moved to Los Angeles in her 20s, began working at Northrup Aviation and met her husband in Hollywood. Passed away Jan. 18. She was 91.

Alexandra Leila Gillette Baba: Passed away Jan. 25. She was 78. Her mother, Salwa, was the first Lebanese actress in Hollywood. She and her husband had four children, all of whom were raised in the Hollywood Hills.

Gloria Bennett: She was a noted opera singer, voice teacher and author in Hollywood for more than 40 years. Passed away Jan. 25. She was 92.  

Betty Ann Bradfield: Born in Hollywood and later moved to Irvine. Passed away Jan. 20. She was 90.

Alida Jane Christy: She was an accomplished dancer and accepted a movie contract from Paramount Pictures and worked in Hollywood for a time as a chorus dancer in Gene Autry movies. Passed away Dec. 24. She was 95.

Doris L. Cozzi: She attended Hollywood High School and attended beauty college in Southern California, where she worked as a beautician. Passed away Jan. 9. She was 92.
