Reprising his Tony award-winning portrayal of the sensational and legendary Frankie Valli, John Lloyd Young stars in the film. Also starring are Erich Bergen as The Four Season’s composer Bob Gaudio; Michael Lomenda as the group’s arranger; and Vincent Piazza as Tommy DeVito.

Clint Eastwood brings to the big screen the group’s timeless melodies including “Walk Like a Man,” “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Dawn,” “Rag Doll,” “Bye Bye Baby,” and “Who Loves You.” – tunes moviegoers, young and old alike, could easily start humming over and over again. Infectious!

Jersey Boys is not only about dreaming big, but also the perseverance and determination needed to reach one’s goals and aspirations in life. Most importantly, it teaches us that with success comes responsibility towards yourself and the people who have helped you along the way.

Go and see the film! It’s excellent!

About this column: Beau Behan’s claim to fame is that his last name being the same as that of the Irish novelist, Brendan Behan. He sees himself as a romantic Rudolph Valentino type, but realizes you probably don’t. As a film critic, his work has been featured in NBC Bay Area, NBC News and Boston Globe, and can be seen on the TV show, “Beau’s Flicks & Nix”, on the Comcast Hometown Network. A “Flick” is a movie, and a “Nix” is just an opinion, nothing more. (BeauBehan.com)
