1. Katy Perry "Part of Me" Party

Why go: Paramount Pictures is hosting the party from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Stop by for Katy Perry-inspired makeovers, free prizes from the film and ice cream sandwiches.

2. Hollywood Health Fair

Why go: This event, hosted by the , will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and offer free health screenings, entertainment for the kids and free food and entertainment.

3. BET Awards Pre-Party

Why go: The sixth annual Producer's Ball, featuring Jermaine Dupri, will take place at 9 p.m. Friday at Mansion Hollywood. Kevin Nash from KJLH will broadcast live from the party.

Price: Free before 10 p.m.

4. Million Dollar Quartet

Why go: This musical, about the only recording session in which Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins joined forces, was a hit on Broadway.

5. Walking Tour

Why go: See Hollywood from a historic point of view in these 9 a.m. Saturday morning walks sponsored by the . Reservations are required.
