'Ted' Premiere Prompts Closure of Hollywood Boulevard

Thursday's movie premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theatre will make way for red carpet arrivals.

Another movie premiere is prompting a partial street closure of Hollywood Boulevard this week.

Universal Pictures' Ted starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis will make its debut at Grauman's Chinse Theatre on Thursday evening.

Starting at 11 a.m. north and south curb lanes and the north sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue will be closed, according to Navigate Hollywood. Lanes will re-open at 11 p.m.

Additionally, the No. 2 westbound lane will be closed from 5 - 9 p.m.

Drivers who typically drive down Hollywood Boulevard during rush hour should take note and take an alternative route.
