No-Parking Zones Planned for Halloween

City to prohibit parking on stretches of Hollywood and Sunset boulevards in an effort to keep pedestrians safe.

A word of warning to fright-night revelers: The city is banning parking on portions of Hollywood and Sunset boulevards in Hollywood for the sake of pedestrian safety on Halloween.

There will be no parking allowed on Hollywood or Sunset boulevards between La Brea Avenue and Gower Street, beginning at midnight Sunday and continuing through noon Tuesday.

Any car owners who do not heed the restrictions will have their cars towed, officials say.
