Hollywood Today: Italia Fest at Grauman's Chinese Theatre

Also: The city's Redistricting Commission meets to vote on final adjustments to its proposed map Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Italia Fest continues today with a tribute to director Sergio Corbucci at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. There will be a screening of his film, Compañeros at 11 a.m. Today’s festival events also include special premieres of Bar Sport by Massimo Martelli, The Worst Week of my Life by Alessandro Genovesi and Jonathan of The Bears  by Enzo Castellari.   • The Los Angeles City Council Redistricting Commission meets at 4 p.m. in Council Chambers, 200 N. Spring St., Room 340, to vote on final adjustments to the draft redistricting map. [Agenda, Pre-final draft map proposal]
  • Meet in front of Unleashed by Petco for a community dog walking party at 6 p.m. The store is hosting the party to give neighbors a chance to meet and to give local pups a chance to socialize.
  • There are still a few spots left for a CPR certification class at the Woman's Club of Hollywood on Wednesday, Feb. 29. The cost is $40 per person and includes a CPR certification card from the American Heart Association. To register, send a check payable to Disaster Specialists (CPR in the memo line) with a self-addressed stamped envelope to Disaster Specialists, 7510 W. Sunset Blvd. #1401, Los Angeles, CA 90046. Spell your name the same way you want it to be on your certification card.
