Get to Know Griffith Park's Mountain Lion

The recent capture and release of a mountain lion in the park will be the topic of a lecture hosted by the Friends of Griffith Park.

Griffith Park's mountain lion, P 22, will be the topic of conversation at The Friends of Griffith Park ongoing lecture series on June 19.

Guest speaker Seth Riley a wildlife ecologist with the National Park Service will talk about what it means to have a mountain lion present in Griffith Park and how residents and visitors can co-exist with them safely.
