Free Community Health Fair Friday

Health screenings and information will be available at Hollywood United Methodist Church.

The Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council is putting together a free community healthy fair with healthcare screenings and more on Friday.

The health fair will be at the Hollywood United Methodist Church, 6187 Frankline Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All ages, income levels and health backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Free screenings will be available for anemia, blood pressure, BMI testing, glucose screening and HIV/STD AIDS testing.

There will be information on alcohol/drug abuse prevention, “Ask a Doctor” general physicians booth, bike and helmet safety, CalFresh Information, cancer prevention, dental hygiene, healthy kids programs, local health resources for the uninsured, low-income housing information, mammogramappointments, Medi-Cal information, senior/disability services, WIC sign up and more.
