  • Where/When: Chinese 6 Theatres, 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, 10 a.m. Saturday
  • Why Go: Bring the little ones for a morning of affordable family-friendly fun. Chinese 6 kicks off its summer movie series with a screening of Bee Movie.
  • Admission: 25 cents per ticket
  • Where/When: Argyle Avenue and Hollywood Blvd.; 2-10 p.m. Saturday
  • Why Go: East Coast-based Hester Street Fair puts on its second Los Angeles event. It's your one-stop shop where you can find unique merchandise,  gourmet food trucks and live entertainment.
  • Admission: Free

Amoeba Charity Auction

  • Where/When: Amoeba Music, 6400 Sunset Blvd., 4 p.m. Saturday
  • Why Go: Veep star Tim Simons will host Amoenba's auction this month that will benefit Camp Crescent Moon in Pacific Palisades. The camp accomodates children with sickle cell disease between the ages of 8 to 14. Auction items include concert tickets, Urban Outfitters gift certificates, VIP Amoeba in-store passes, autographed items and more.
  • Admission: Free
  • Where/When: The Laugh Factory, 8001 Sunset Blvd., 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday
  • Why Go: Each summer the famous comedy venue hosts a group of disadvantaged kids for a ten-week summer camp that's loads of fun. Families interested in enrolling their kids should attend this session.
  • Admission: Free
  • Where/When: Cat & Fiddle Pub and Restaurant, 6530 Sunset Blvd., 7 p.m. Sunday
  • Why Go: Relax and unwind with some dinner and jazz before getting back into the weekly grind. The Jack Hale Quartet will play Sunday.
  • Admission: No cover
