4 Road Closures to Know This Week

A paw print ceremony, movie premieres and a parade will prompt the partial closure of Hollywood Boulevard this week.

Take note! There will be a partial closure of Hollywood Boulevard four times this week, according to Navigate Hollywood.

On Monday, The north and south curb lanes of Hollywood Boulevard between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive will be closed for Uggie the Dog's pawprint ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theatre from 3 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally,  the north sidewalk between Orange Avenue and Awards Walk will be closed to pedestrian traffic at 7 a.m. and re-open by 2 p.m. Pedestrian traffic may be allowed intermittently during set up.

All lanes of Hollywood Boulevard between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive will be closed from Monday at 8 p.m. to Wednesday at 4 a.m. for Katy Perry's Part of Me premiere and concert. Additionally, the mid-block crosswalk will be closed and the sidewalks will be open intermittently.

On Wednesday, the No. 2 westbound lane of Hollywood Boulevard between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive will will be closed from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday. for the Nitro Circus premiere.

On Saturday, all lanes of Hollywood Boulevard between Ivar Avenue and Normandie Avenue will be closed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Carnival from Carribbean Parade and Festival. Closures will follow the parade beginning at Normandie Aevnue at 11 a.m. proceeding west on Hollywood Boulevard to Ivar Avenue. Traffic will be allowed at certain times throughout the parade route.
