Annual Economic Summit Echoes Hollywood’s History

Reflecting on Hollywood’s Past, Looking Forward to a Bright Future” is the theme of the annual Hollywood Economic Development Summit, set for Thursday, June 16th. Co-chairs Nicole Mihalka and Marty Shelton noted that the program features presentations, panel discussions, an economic update and more.

The first panel will discuss “Reflecting on the Past.” Moderated by Jerry Neuman of Sheppard Mullin, confirmed panelists include former Hollywood Council representatives Michael Woo and Jackie Goldberg. The second panel will discuss “Looking Forward to a Bright Future.” Moderated by Charles Crumpley, Editor of Los Angeles Business Journal, confirmed panelists include Bob Champion of Champion Real Estate, John Given of CIM Group, and Michael Gargano of Argent Ventures. Nancy Sidhu of LAEDC will present Economic Update. 

The annual Hollywood Economic Development Summit is always one of the most popular annual events sponsored by the Hollywood Chamber and each year attracts approximately 400 individuals from the business community. The summit will be held at ArcLight Hollywood, with a trade show and networking beginning at 8 a.m. and the program running from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
