Hollywood PAL Celebrity Bowling Fundraiser

The Hollywood Police Activities League Board of Directors is pleased to announce the fifth annual Hollywood PAL Celebrity Bowl on Sunday, March 30th, 2014, from 5-8 pm. This family-friendly, VIP event will take place in the heart of Hollywood at the famous Lucky Strike Lanes, where attendees will bowl with celebrities and PAL kids, mingle with community partners, police officers, and other PAL supporters.

The Hollywood PAL Celebrity Fundraiser boasts that all proceeds go directly to support PAL programs. Everything is donated from the food to the trophies, thanks to PAL's incredible partners. Terri Tilton, PAL Board Member and Chair of the bowling event, says, "This event provides an opportunity for our community and celebrities to interact with our PAL kids and LAPD, thus gaining a greater understanding of Hollywood PAL, our purpose and the youth that we serve."

Tickets for this popular event are limited and are currently available at $600 for a Kingpin Sponsorship, which includes bowling for 6 to 8 individuals, one drink ticket per person, a bottle of champagne, and one voucher for a free Red Pin Bowling Party for a future visit. Individual tickets will be available 1 month prior to the event, $50 for individual bowlers and $25 for spectators. A silent auction and raffle will raise additional funds for the 450 kids that Hollywood PAL serves.

About the Hollywood Police Activities League

The Hollywood Police Activities League (PAL), a community-based crime prevention program, provides young people with positive alternatives to gangs and drugs. Through interaction with police officers in recreational, educational, athletic, and fine arts activities, young people are given the opportunity to form healthy, positive attitudes toward the police, the society and the laws they represent. Hollywood PAL serves more than 450 at-risk youth, ages 6-17, annually from Hollywood and surrounding areas of Los Angeles, offering after-school programs six days per week throughout the year.
