Reward Increased in Fatal Stabbing at Hollywood Pot Dispensary

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors agreed to double its reward to a total of $10,000 for information leading toward the conviction of whoever killed Ila Ali Packman on June 24.

The Board of Supervisors increased the reward today for information leading to whoever fatally stabbed a volunteer clerk at a medical marijuana dispensary in Hollywood on June 24.

The board agreed to double its reward to a total of $10,000, bringing the total reward that includes the city of Los Angeles to $60,000.

The victim, Ila Ali Packman, 39, died after being attacked at Hollywood Holistic II at 1607 N. El Centro Ave.

Packman was last seen smoking a cigarette outside the shop around 3:30 p.m. that day and found dead by the owner around 9 p.m.

The suspect or suspects fled with surveillance video from the store and about $3,000 worth of pot.
