Photos: 'The Muppets' Visit Hollywood

A portion of Hollywood Boulevard is closed to traffic Sunday night for a movie shoot that includes actors Amy Adams, Jason Segel, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Fozzie Bear.

All it took was a wave from Kermit the Frog to enchant dozens of bystanders who stopped to watch filming of The Muppets movie in front of The El Capitan Theatre on Sunday night.

The shoot prompted the closure of Hollywood Boulevard between Highland Avenue and La Brea Avenue on Sunday night through 6 a.m. Monday morning.

Those standing by, mostly tourists with their cameras ready, were starstruck to see puppeteers bring to life Kermit along with Miss Piggy and Fozzie Bear.
