All it took was a wave from Kermit the Frog to enchant dozens of bystanders who stopped to watch filming of The Muppets movie in front of The El Capitan Theatre on Sunday night.
The shoot prompted the closure of Hollywood Boulevard between Highland Avenue and La Brea Avenue on Sunday night through 6 a.m. Monday morning.
Those standing by, mostly tourists with their cameras ready, were starstruck to see puppeteers bring to life Kermit along with Miss Piggy and Fozzie Bear.
The characters, created by Jim Henson, are reuniting for a movie scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 23.
Lead actors Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) and Amy Adams (The Fighter) were also spotted on the set.
