Forest Lawn to Honor Veterans at Memorial Day Service

Memorial Day Service: Forest Lawn Cemetery will honor those who died in military service in a 10 a.m. ceremony today with remarks from Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Councilman Tom LaBonge will be the keynote speaker, while Fritz Coleman of KNBC-TV will serve as the master of ceremonies. The Hall of Liberty will be open and the California Army National Guard’s 40th Infantry Division Band will perform.
Walk of Fame: Country music star Shania Twain will receive the 2,442nd star on the Walk of Fame Thursday.
