What do you do? I am an interior designer and I have a store called Vi-Spring On Beverly.
Where do you get your sense of style? From the past. I feel like I was born in a different era. I feel much more comfortable dressed like this than in modern clothes. I love the style of old Hollywood. It feels like home to me.

What draws you to Hollywood? I love the spirit and history of Hollywood. As an interior designer, I have been shopping for furniture and accessories at flea markets for years now and what one can find in Hollywood is extraordinary. We live in Whitley Heights, and though it’s noisier than we thought – with the Hollywood Bowl – we love it there. But the main reason I am in Hollywood is for work – we have customers from San Diego to Santa Barbara.
What do you love most about Hollywood? I love the architecture and how you can track a neighborhood's growth just by walking up and down the block. Also, the city's rich and wonderful history, from it's innovative residential planning from the turn of the century until the great depression, to its role in the golden age of motion pictures, to its influence on the early days of rock n' roll. And finally, the fact that I can find myself hiking deep in a canyon or trekking a sandy, desert hillside and 20 minutes later sitting in dead stop traffic on the 101.
