  • Why Go: This is part of a series of Sean Connery and John Barry tribute screenings at the Egyptian theater. You can't go wrong with two James Bond flicks back to back, especially when you have the chance to win DVDs. 
  • Pricing: General Admission $11. Cinematheque Members $7.00; seniors 65 and older and students with valid ID $9.

  • Where/When: Hollywood Improv - The Lab, 8162 Melrose Ave., 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19
  • Why Go: Catch this uninhibited R-rated, fast- aced sketch comedy show about sitcoms. No cheesy parodies, but expect surprises and a good laugh.
  • Pricing: $18

  • Where/When:  (The Autry), 4730 Crystal Springs Dr., 11 a.m. Sunday, March 20
  • Why Go: See how poetry and music of the American West open range have evolved through the performances of musicians and cowboy poets.
  • Pricing: Free with museum admission.

  • Where/When: Hot Spectator Spots (Near Madame Tussaud’s or Hard Rock Cafe), Hollywood Boulevard and Orange Drive.
  • Why Go: This will be a focal point of race day entertainment with live music, food and beverage sampling, exhibits and more.
