Los Angeles Fashion Week is officially in full swing, with local designers showcasing their Spring/Summer 2013 styles at events all across L.A. Even though it’s billed as a week’s worth of events, there are shows, parties and presentations all the way through October 21, so it’s more like fashion week-and-a-half. Hey, I’m complaining. Check out a full calendar of events here.
Kelsi Smith and the Los Angeles Fashion Council kicked off the festivities on Wednesday at the historic Carondelet House downtown. The exposed brick walls and stairs, working fireplace and courtyards framed by twisting tree trunks made an absolutely lovely backdrop for the L.A.-made designs.
Check out what’s coming up for Spring/Summer 2013 from ISM Mode, Odylyne and Jen Awad above. I wasn’t able to snap any pics of Bohemian Society’s show, but I heard it was awesome!
