Local Bank Employees Give Back

Employees from Torrey Pines Bank’s L.A. and Beverly Hills office participated in a day of giving back at the Downtown Women’s Shelter on San Pedro Street in Los Angeles on Sat, June 22.

Collectively Torrey Pines Bank employees served over 150 women at lunch, sorted countless bags of donations, prepared 70+ snack pack meals for the Ladies, and tied a few hundred tags for the organization’s MADE Resale Boutique.

“I was very impressed with the facility and the support that they provide.   It really provides a wonderful safe place for women to go,” said Kristine Price, executive vice president, senior credit administrator, for the Los Angeles market.

“We greatly rely on the work of groups like yours to provide the Ladies with the resources they need,” said Camille Crenshaw, Community and Corporate Engagement Associate of the Downtown Women’s Shelter.

Torrey Pines Bank gave close to a half a million dollars to charitable causes in 2012 and is known for giving back to local nonprofit organizations.
