Supporters, Protesters Flock to Chick-fil-A

The restaurant on Sunset Boulevard receives an influx of reaction from the community on Wednesday.

Hollywood Patch did and noticed several protesters were out in front of the restaurant waving signs around 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, protesters were speaking out against recent comments by chief executive Dan Cathy who commented last month of his "support of the traditional family." Meanwhile, supporters flocked to the restaurant following former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee's urging for "Appreciate Chick-fil-A Day."  

There were no arrests and police received no calls regarding the protest, Sgt. Sal Ogaz of LAPD's Hollywood Station told Patch Wednesday afternoon.
