Rolling Stone Restaurant Closes in Hollywood

The restaurant closes with little warning.

Rolling Stone Restaurant has closed its doors in Hollywood, Eater L.A. reports.

The restaurant inside the Hollywood and Highland complex closed last week with little warning, Eater reported.

A "new concept" will take over the space in June, according to Eater reports.

On Valentine's Day, the restaurant posted a happy hour update on its Facebook page, which is still live.

They charged too much, end of story. Let that be a lesson to so-called "cool" restaurants that attempt to rip off the tourists and locals. All they had to do was cut their prices in half and the place would have been packed every night. The place was sad and empty. I think I saw the help sitting at the bar just to make it look like they had customers.

Had no vibe whatsoever. Do what the bars further east on Hollywood do and have an all day happy hour with cheap beer/drinks.

Poorly conceved tourist trap with rip off prices in the least traveld part of the mall. They could have set it up so you could see the Hollywood sighn when you dined. Instead they blocked off the windows. What morons. Millions drove by on Highland but again they blocked off the windows and put up some blow ups of Rolling Stone Magazine covers so it just looked like an administrative office instead of a cool restaurant. If people could have seen in driving by and they saw a cool rock trivia eatery with an actual theme rather than just some old moldy photos of bands on the wall they would have stoped to check it out. No giftshop inside no reprints of old Rolling Stone magazines for tourists to take home no rock trivia napkins nothing.....brain dead waisted concept and opertunity
