Roadside Eats Celebrates Grand Opening in Hollywood

The restaurant is located at 6374 Sunset Boulevard.

A new southern sandwich shop, Roadside Eats, celebrated its grand opening on Friday the Archlight complex on Sunset and Vine.

The third collaboration between owners Ken Kaufman, Brian McKeaney and Chef-Partner Dave Northrup, the restaurant will bring southern flavors to its sandwiches, salads and sides. The restaurant also planned a fundraiser Saturday, where 10 percent of all proceeds will go toward benefitting the Hollywood YMCA. Kids will also get free ice cream from noon to 3 p.m.

“This is a spot I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. It's the food that I grew up loving, but with cleaner and brighter flavors,” Northrup said in a press release. “The taste and texture combinations are 100% nostalgic, but the service and presentation are all right now.”
