Last Chance: Hester Street Fair's Final Event

Saturday's Hollywood market will feature sustainable designers and live entertainment from music label Mexican Summer.

The Hester Street Fair will close out its summer series in Hollywood with a block party focusing on music and crafts on Saturday.

The open-air market came to Hollywood with its monthly programming featuring indie designers and musicians. Their closing day event will feature sustainable designers and entertainment from music label Mexican Summer.

From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. expect to find a variety of indie designers, craft merchants, food and live entertainment at the parking lot on Hollywood Boulevard and Argyle Avenue.

The "Goodnight Hollywood Blvd. Music & Craft Festival" will include the return of Andy Dick's popular $1 Poetry Booth. Andrew W.K. will serve as MC and play DJ sets throughout the day. Peaking Lights, Part Time, Regal Degal, Beachwood Sparks and Turquoise Wisdom are scheduled to play sets.

Eco-friendly merchants selling their wares include Taxi CDC, Christi Jay, Bowjie and Home Spun Kids. 

Food and beverage vendors include Mama Musubi, DOSAtruck, Coolhaus, Cousins Maine Lobster, Barrett's Lemonade and more. The biergarten is back with taps full of craft brews and special mixed cocktails by Reiss Co.
