Exclusive hotspot. At this 1960s-inspired poolside lounge in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, the best and brightest of Hollywood’s étoiles drop by for sunbathing and scoping the competition by day and cocktails and dancing by night. A recent revamp installed palms and posh cabanas round the pool, but the iconic David Hockney mural remains intact..

The Library bar

One of LA’s best hidden gems, this playground for the leading movers and shakers in mixology is located off the historic lobby. Serving drinks “Omakase-style”, the Library Bar boasts unusual cocktail creations with ever-changing farmer’s market ingredients, as well as homemade foams and garnishes. Open daily from 5:30pm.

Très chic Hollywood is set to become even more so this September when Québec In Hollywood kicks off a three week celebration of Québec's unique brand of creativity and flair. Prepare to be dazzled by the sights and sounds, artistry and flavors, of North America's own thriving slice of French-speaking culture. Slated events include a Québec film festival at the Egyptian Theatre, performances by top bands and comedy acts, a Montréal fashion runway show at Hollywood & Highland Center, special restaurant tastings with renowned Québecois chefs, a green transportation design symposium, gallery exhibitions and more. The festivities will culminate with the premiere of IRIS, a new resident show helmed by Québec's very own Cirque du Soleil and set to run through 2021 at the legendary Kodak Theatre.
