Community Fair Showcases Services and Talent

Hollywood Patch stopped by the Yucca Recreation Center on Saturday afternoon to connect with residents and local organizations and to check out the activities at the Community Resource Fair.

Students from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy were among the acts performing at the event. (See video)

Councilman Tom LaBonge was on hand to meet with residents.

Activities for the kids included arts and crafts, face painting and a moon bounce.

Organizations including  Tree People, LA Animal Services and Active Actors had informational booths to tell residents about the services they provide to the community.
