2012 Coldplay Tour to Include Hollywood Bowl
The band announces its 2012 North American tour dates.
Coldplay announced Thursday that the band's first North American tour in nearly three years will include a two-night stand at the Hollywood Bowl in the spring.
The tour kicks off April 17 in Edmonton, Alberta, and the Hollywood Bowl concerts are scheduled for May 1-2. Tickets for the Los Angeles dates go on sale in early January.
The British band is touring in support of its recently released CD, Mylo Xyloto, which includes the Grammy-nominated singles "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall," up for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song, and "Paradise," nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
