Richard Burton will receive the 2,491st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 1.
"We are thrilled that the late, great actor Richard Burton will be honored with his star on the Walk of Fame," said Leron Gubler, president/CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Burton's star, which will be located next to the star of Elizabeth Taylor, will be unveiled with help from his daughters.
The ceremony will be part of celebrations commemorating the 50th anniversary of "Cleopatra."
Lord Rowe Beddoe and actor Michael Sheen are scheduled to speak at the event, which will be held at 6336 Hollywood Blvd.
