My Chemical Romance, WAR and Yeasayer to Play in Hollywood

New Jersey-based pop punk band My Chemical Romance will play two sold out shows at the Hollywood Palladium this weekend, as part of the group’s ‘World Contamination Tour.’ Classic California funk band WAR has a stop scheduled at The Greek Theatre. Experimental indie outfit Yeasayer will play The Music Box Monday and Tuesday nights.

British electro pioneer James Blake will put on two special performances Tuesday, a concert at Hollywood Forever cemetery and a DJ set at Dim Mak Studios. Los Angeles-based Foster The People will play a free show at Amoeba Music in support of new album Torches, released Monday. Led Zeppelin progeny Jason Bonham brings his tribute tour to Hollywood on Friday. Hollywood’s music scene is brimming with possibilities for concertgoers this week.
