Julianne Moore to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

The ceremony will take place at 11:30 am. next to the W Hollywood Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard.

Actress Julianne Moore will receive the 2,507th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday, honoring a career that has included four Oscar nominations and Primetime and Daytime Emmys.

Joseph Gordon Levitt, who directed and co-starred with Moore in the romantic comedy-drama "Don Jon," and Jay Roach, who directed Moore in her Emmy-winning performance as 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin in the 2012 made-for-television movie "Game Change," will join Moore in speaking in the 11:30 a.m. ceremony next to the W Hollywood Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard.

The ceremony, which will be streamed live on the Walk of Fame's website, walkoffame.com, comes 15 days before the release of Moore's latest movie, the re-adaptation of the Stephen King novel "Carrie." Moore plays the mother of a shy outcast (Chloe Grace Moretz) who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
